Constructed in Guadalajara using a vintage MA-1 base pattern as blueprint, the jacket is built with high-gloss finish, selected for its ability to hold air and shape. Insulation is crafted unevenly across the torso and sleeves to create distortions in silhouette, while the rib knit trims are custom-dyed to match the jacket’s outer shell. Each jacket is treated to retain the internal air pockets, locking the volume in place without the need for excessive padding.
