The ORTO PINNED BOD is a reconstruction of a straitjacket, playing with an erotic and post-apocalyptic silhouette. Constructed from raw, unbleached cotton, its anatomical fit outlines the torso with restrictive precision, culminating in a pointed apron-like flap that alludes to both ritual garments and fetish wear. Two pins on the chest act as relics or bureaucratic decorations, undermining the body's supposed neutrality. The open back fastens with vertical ties, allowing for exposure, adjustment, or subversion. A body caught between containment and expression.
Developed and prototyped in Guadalajara, the ORTO PINNED BODY is cut from cotton canvas, selected for its stiffness and skin-adjacent tactility. The back closure system relies on cotton twill ties, stitched into reinforced eyelets to allow for modular tensioning. This piece exists in a limited batch.
